CONSTRUCTION BEGINS ON SUNMARK PLAZA

(Las Vegas, NV) - Laurich Properties and The Molasky Companies are beginning construction this week on one of the largest shopping center developments in the Las Vegas area, SunMark Plaza. The 500,000 square foot retail 'Power Center,' projected to be valued at over $75 million, is located at Sunset Road and Marks Street in Henderson. Its first occupancy is scheduled for Summer 2001. The project is being financed through Bank One Arizona.

This 40-acre parcel of land was purchased from Sunset Station last month. The site will soon be the home to several national retailers including Best Buy, JoAnns etc., Chevron, and the first Super Costco in the Las Vegas area.

"The Stephanie-Sunset corridor will have 3.5 million square feet of retail space by the end of 2001," said Hank Gordon, president of Laurich Properties. "That gives this area the highest concentration of retail space in Nevada."

SunMark Plaza is a joint venture of Laurich Properties and The Molasky Companies. This development is the eighth project the two companies have worked on together. "I have worked on many developments with Laurich Properties," said Irwin Molasky, chairman on The Molasky Companies. "They have the ability to foresee community needs and bring national retailers into our neighborhoods. Hank Gordon is a true professional and an honorable gentleman."

"There are several national retailers not presently located in the Henderson area but who have locations in Las Vegas," said Gordon. "SunMark Plaza is the ideal location to serve the Henderson community. We plan to bring new and exciting retailers to this corridor."

"We are excited about this wonderful location and have great respect for our partner - Laurich Properties," said Richard Worthington, president of The Molasky Companies.

Laurich Properties, Inc. is the largest Las Vegas-based shopping center developer with more than 3 million square feet of retail space in southern Nevada.
